I sat down and created my metal dancer this evening.
I'm loving how she turned out, but after looking at her for a few seconds, i'm wanting to add color- perhaps by using some acrylic paints (since i don't have any spray paint)
yeah, that's the effect i was going to try out, but didn't know what it was called. It's just regular craft metal. It look shinier than it is because of the flash. would i need to seal in the anneal?
I'm no expert but I did it on some forks and knives. I think all we did was dunk it in a bucket of water after heating it up. See if it works on your scrap metal and if so, go from there.

ReplyDeleteI just love the flow of that. What kind of metal is that? You might be able to anneal it over a stove flame and give it some rainbow colors.
