Zany Tiki, Panda, and Tiny Robot

I decided to make a cardboard print of a tiki and put it on some t-shirts. Tiki T-shirts...LOL. Then while I had the ink out, I wanted to see how the panda and robot stamps I carved looked on T-shirts. So here they are. That's what I'm loving about this blog. One thing leads to another and ideas fly like sparks from a sparkler.

I got about five good prints out of the cardboard before it had a melt down. But that's all I had planned to do. It's a great way to make just a few items. I used Speedball Screenprinting Ink for fabric. It's a shame the only color I had was red. Red didn't show up so well on the darker shirts.

My Soft Hat

This type of hat is called a Snood. I made it in shades of blue and purple.

Picking a Topic

Just a note on picking topics first. The first word should be an adjective. An adjective is a word that describes such as fuzzy, cute, weird, green, itchy, spooky, and so on.

The second word is a noun. A noun is a person, place or thing. A noun for example would be a word such as candy, church, planet, purse, monkey, heart or pumpkin.

So the topic could be any of these: fuzzy planet, gold monkey, sticky candy, mad pumpkin or slippery detective.

Lanee' wanted to do penny candy. That one has me baffled. Would it be 'sticky penny candy' or 'pretty penny candy.' In which case 'penny candy' would be the noun. Or is the word 'penny' itself an adjective? As in 'cheap' candy or 'inexpensive' candy.
