Zany Tiki, Panda, and Tiny Robot

I decided to make a cardboard print of a tiki and put it on some t-shirts. Tiki T-shirts...LOL. Then while I had the ink out, I wanted to see how the panda and robot stamps I carved looked on T-shirts. So here they are. That's what I'm loving about this blog. One thing leads to another and ideas fly like sparks from a sparkler.

I got about five good prints out of the cardboard before it had a melt down. But that's all I had planned to do. It's a great way to make just a few items. I used Speedball Screenprinting Ink for fabric. It's a shame the only color I had was red. Red didn't show up so well on the darker shirts.

My Soft Hat

This type of hat is called a Snood. I made it in shades of blue and purple.

About Those Finished Weeks

I gave the finished weeks their own text box at the bottom of the sidebar. That way when new people join they can look at the past challenges, and start from the beginning if they want to and the rest of us can go back and see what we've gotten behind on.

ZETHAN

Hey Zethan, what are you picking for tomorrow (Wed. Aug. 19)? If you already told me I missed it somehow.

Orange Purse Revisited

I know I'm way behind. My personal life had a meltdown, including my bf losing his job of 7 years. Now with him underfoot so much, it's hard to focus.

But today I worked some more on my orange purse. Still not done but I'll get some photos when we get home from the Japanese market.

Zany Tiki

Okay sooooo this is how it turned out >.<
