Tagging Things On Flickr

In case members have forgotten or didn't know, if you tag your relevant photos on your Flickr stream with zngang they'll show up in the slideshow to the right.

Hey! What ever happened to your Punky Panda??

Here it is!

I've been re-working this punky panda thing for days. The idea that i had before just didn't translate well, so I decided to go this way instead.

The Pink stuff on top is the start of a wildly colored mohawk. It's still not finished- will be when I figure out exactly how much mohawk is a enough.

Embroidered Love Machine

I was tempted to go at this in several different ways and ended up settling on freehand embroidery on felt. I like this acrylic felt because it's made from soda bottles. I chose hot pink for 'love'. The stitches include split stitch, satin stitch, couching and french knots.

The Punky Panda Stays Out Late With the Drunk Monkey

I'm a little too tired to enjoy my accomplishment right now. But in the morning I'll probably feel like a genius. I haven't carved stamps in a while so it was like visiting an old friend. So I did both the Punky Panda and the Drunk Monkey. Now I can use them on cards or gift wrap or walls or whatever.
